Maison Matisco Macon-Peronne is medium-bodied, dry and shows a perfectly balanced acidity. Made from 100% Chardonnay it shows lots of minerality and both green apple and some fragrant apple blossom. Wonderful minerality on show with some stone and flint on the palate. Chateau Poujeau Saint-Genes is a heavily Merlot-influenced Bordeaux Superieur. Bold, smooth and dry, there is lots of expressive red fruit shown on the nose. Some dried fruit and further red fruit present on the palate. Finishes smooth and supple.
