Highland Park Einar Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Einar Sigurdsson was the joint Earl of Orkney from 1014 to 1020. In his rule, he was easily identified by his axe which was sharp and brutal. The axe is depicted on the label.

This whisky pours a rich golden colour which is clear and bright. On the nose there is pineapple, spicy wood smoke, dried orange peel and some golden syrup. The palate starts off smoky and develops notes of vanilla and some citrus peel. The finish shows lots of vanilla sweetness and a lingering smokiness.
