Eclipse is the embodiment of the Mount Gay style, body and aroma by which their Master Blender Trudiann Branker uses to blend every variety of Mount Gay rum.
Eclipse is distilled in traditional copper port and column stills, then matured in ex-American whiskey casks, giving the blend notes of fresh vanilla, almond, ripe banana and dark chocolate, perfect for cocktails.
For many rum aficionados, Eclipse is also a reference by which all rum should be measured.
Distinctive notes of vanilla and banana, with underlying notes of caramel, summer fruit and spice. An oaky character with slight burnt notes.
